AUDITION NOTICE FOR THE ADDAMS FAMILY AT The Henegar
(Adult Vocalists/Actors/Dancers)

Monday, July 31st (6pm-10pm)
Rehearsal Dates: August 20th- September 28th
(Rehearsals are generally Sunday through Thursday 6pm-10pm)
Mandatory Tech Week: September 24th-28th
Performance Dates run for 4 Weekends: Friday-Sunday, September 29th- October 22nd.
*NOTE* We may add additional performances including Thursday evenings or Saturday matinees at a later date. Auditions will be held at The Henegar Center; 625 East Haven Avenue, Melbourne FL 32901
For a faster and more convenient experience, you are encouraged to book a guaranteed audition appointment time. Anyone auditioning without a scheduled appointment will be seen in the next available time slot. *NOTE* Walk-ups may experience a much longer wait time.
To secure a time slot for your in person audition, please email auditions@henegar.org with your SATB vocal part and requested date and time.
In person auditions will get first consideration of casting; however, performers traveling further than 90 miles from The Henegar may submit a virtual audition. Virtual submissions should include your headshot/resume, and a video of you singing any song from the production that best shows your vocal range, along with a short dance reel emailed to auditions@henegar.org.
Every eligible actor 16 and up will receive a paid travel stipend at the end of the show’s run. The Henegar Center, when needed, will offer equity guest contracts to members of the union and contracts for professional actors. The Henegar is an equal opportunity theatre, and we encourage performers of all ethnicities to audition. Please do not disqualify yourself on the basis of type, race, or physicality.
Music from the show, scenes, or choreography will be taught at the night of auditions. Some actors may be asked to attend callbacks on the same night of their audition. Vocal sides will be sent in advance of the audition date, and after we’ve confirmed your appointment.
