“Sister Act” is a musical comedy that brings together elements of laughter, music, and divine sisterhood. The story unfolds when Deloris Van Cartier, a vivacious disco diva, witnesses a crime and is placed in protective custody within the unlikeliest of sanctuaries – a convent. Disguised as a nun, Deloris clashes with the strict rules of the convent and its uptight Mother Superior. However, her irrepressible spirit and musical talents lead her to transform the convent’s choir, injecting joy and vitality into the previously solemn atmosphere. As Deloris navigates her double life, the humorous clash between her vibrant personality and the subdued convent life provides ample entertainment. The musical, known for its catchy tunes and spirited performances, explores themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the power of music to bridge diverse worlds.

Those seeking a role on stage should prepare a short song in the style of the show, a hymn, or a 70s-style song. Comfortable clothing should be worn as some basic choreography will be taught.

There are roles available for men and women 15 and up. Yes, multiple men are needed.
