La Jolla Booking Agency – Internationally touring Queen tribute seeks Freddie Mercury

U.S. production and management company is holding auditions for a full time “Freddie Mercury” for an international tribute to Queen. The band plays in regional theatres, clubs, casinos, fairs and festivals. The band works 60 – 80 dates per year with the goal of doubling the number of shows.
Compensation is between $250-$800 per gig. Approx 70% of the shows are in Southern California & the US Southwest, but the band does fly nationally & internationally & is open to touring.
The position requires the following:
Expert vocals with the unique sound of Freddie Mercury
Strong vocal harmonies
Strong keyboard player
Rockstar quality & rhythmic stage moves
Lean and fit body-type
Available for travel, have or can get a passport
Drama free, no exceptions
Between the ages of 18 and 35 with a youthful appearance
Acting/theatre experience or ability and willingness to learn
Auditions will be held invitation only.
Successful applicant would need to buy costumes and wig.
