CASTING NOTICE – Non-Union Short Film: “Jane and the Rose”

About the Film:
“Jane and the Rose” is based on a true story and aims to raise awareness about missing children and the power of the heart-brain connection. The film will be shot in a documentary style and submitted to film festivals.
We are casting for the following roles:
Jane Bergman (Lead): White, female, age 7-12. A sensitive, sweet girl. Must be able to show a range of dramatic emotions, including fear and distress.
Doctor Bergman (Supporting): White Jewish male, age 30-65. A loving father, blatantly racist, stubborn, outspoken, but also sensitive. He has an intense presence, with his daughter being his weakness. Must be able to display distress and anger.
Mrs. Bergman (Supporting): White female, age 28-50. A strong, discreet type who is unafraid to confront her husband when necessary.
Details: Meals provided. Footage for a reel. IMDb credit. Festival exposure. Acting experience not required, but a strong audition is essential!
