A proof of concept for a feature film is set to shoot in summer 2025, with SAG-AFTRA and non-union actors invited to apply. The story follows Amy, a grieving and pregnant woman who, after losing her mother and sister, returns to her childhood cabin with her inexperienced boyfriend, Ben. As she struggles with intensifying night terrors, she discovers a mysterious force in the woods trapping her in a nightmarish cycle.
The production will film from December 13-16, 2024, within a two-hour radius of Downtown Orlando, FL. The project is written and directed by Zachary Beckler and Sarah Tice, with compensation at the UPA SAG-AFTRA rate.

Roles:
- AMY (Adult) – Mid 20s 30s years old. (Shooting Summer 2025, casting early for lineage) Pregnant and grieving after losing her mother and sister, Amy is fragile. She is smart but easily overwhelmed. Amy has little patience in her situation and often meets characters with a sharpness that has evolved as the stress grows. Must be comfortable with wearing a pregnancy belly.
- AMY (Child) 6 to 8 years old.
Amy wakes up and is comforted by her mother as she recalls her nightmare. Amy does not like eye-contact. She is shy but intelligent. - CHARLOTTE Mid 40s to 505.
Amy’s “mother” (revealed to be her grandmother). She is strong, no-nonsense. She is a natural mother figure but teaches her children early that there is more out there than meets the eye. - JUDY – Mid 20s to 30s years old (playing closer to early 20s).
Amy’s “sister” (revealed to be her birth mother). Struggled with substance abuse since she was a teen. Impulsive and a “free spirit.” We mainly see Amy’s perception of Judy in her nightmares.
