She gets a kick out of rekindling the creative spark but worries for Rob and his ailing mother.
HOPE (FEMALE, CAUCASIAN, 55-75)
Sturdy, no filter, and too close to the end of her life to stand on ceremony. Hope offers tough love advice to her son Rob, reminding him good things will come if he stays the course and trusts himself.
CASHIER (MALE, ANY ETHNICITY, 40-85)
A liquor store owner with a sixth sense for sniffing out people on a bad path. Rob’s odd behavior catches Cashier’s eye, prompting unsolicited tough love advice.
CUSTOMER (MALE, ANY ETHNICITY, 20-50)
A terrifying hulk of a man who robs the liquor store at gunpoint, caring more about a full wallet than the lives of Cashier and Rob.

A beefy repo person who repossesses medical equipment from people who can’t pay their insurance premiums.
