Casting for “Hydra”, a Boston based sci-fi film that explores the afterlife, advancing human capabilities, and the properties of matter.
Principal filming will be in May of 2024.
Roles:
“Willow” (Female, Age 18-30)-Brilliant anesthesiologist student. Mother died in childbirth, still haunts her. Hides her guilt behind polarized emotions, she’s either the life of the party or “the quiet one” with her hoodie up.
“Thomas” (Male, Age 30-65)-Single father, wife died in childbirth. Swore to protect his daughter Willow at all costs. Still can’t help but think about how things “could have been” if his wife was still here. Tough as nails, made a good living working strong-man jobs his whole life.
“Van Izon” (Male, Age 30-65)- Silver-tongued Scientist fascinated by the idea of “advancing the species”. Sees himself as a vessel of greater purpose in the universe.
“Andrea” (Female, Age 30-65)- Soft spoken, full heart, unconditional love for her daughter Willow and husband Thomas. One of those people that seems connected to all parts of nature. “The sunrise on your horizon, the wind at your back”
