Amazon show Scarpetta looking to cast paid extras in Los Angeles.
Amazon Prime Video series, Kay Scarpetta, is set to film in Los Angeles (Burbank) this December and is hiring numerous background extras. Production for the Scarpetta series, which began in Nashville, Tennessee, earlier this fall, will continue in Los Angeles.
This new Amazon series will be filming in Los Angeles (Burbank) in early December and they will be hiring lots of background extras. Filming began in October and will run through early March (Not sure which cities the production will be filming in). The project has been filming in the Nashville, Tennessee area for some weeks now and one of the production units seems to be moving to Los Angeles in December. Extras casting calls are out for both the Nashville and Los Angeles areas.
New Amazon Show Filming in Nashville Needs Paid Extras
The series is produced by Blumhouse Productions, a powerhouse studio known for its extensive portfolio of hit horror films and critically acclaimed dramas. Blumhouse’s impressive lineup includes Get Out, Paranormal Activity, The Purge, The Black Phone, Whiplash, and BlacKkKlansman, among others.
Kay Scarpetta, or “Scarpetta“ is adapted from Patricia Cornwell’s bestselling book series and is brought to life by creator Liz Sarnoff (Lost, Barry). Hollywood heavyweights Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis are not only producing the series but also starring in lead roles.
Background talent opportunities will be available for scenes filming in Burbank starting in December.
