Auditions for the 13th Annual “Robeson County Christmas Show”
The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater in downtown Lumberton is gearing up for its 13th Annual “Robeson County Christmas Show.” This heartwarming holiday musical revue, directed by the theater’s resident artist Kendrix Singletary, is a festive treat for the entire family. Featuring a regional cast of singers and dancers, including the youth ensemble known as the “Civettes” and featured vocalists, this show has become a cherished holiday tradition and has even been showcased on UNC-TV’s “Carolina Weekend.”
Casting Call:
Seven female dancers for the Civettes.
Eight children who are mature, spirited, and capable of singing, dancing, and following direction.
Audition Details:
Youth Ensemble: August 15, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Civettes: August 18, 12:00 PM (Potential callbacks at 3:00 PM)
Audition Requirements:
Children: Prepare to sing a Christmas song that showcases vocal abilities. YouTube/karaoke tracks are preferred. Phones may be used for music if proper adapters are available. A cappella performances are not accepted.
Civettes: Come prepared and dressed to learn a dance combination. Civettes will receive a cash stipend for their participation after the show.
