Canyon Lake Community Theatre Announces Beauty and the Beast Auditions

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 18, at 1 p.m. at the Eastport Activities Building. Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate and showcase their talents.

Beauty and the Beast is a timeless fairy tale that tells the story of Belle, a young woman who finds herself imprisoned in a castle by a fearsome Beast. Despite her circumstances, Belle’s courage and kindness lead her to see the humanity within the Beast, who is actually a prince cursed by an enchantress. As they grow closer, Belle and the Beast learn to look beyond appearances and discover that true beauty lies within.

Audition Details:

Date and Time: Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Location: Eastport Activities Building

What to Prepare:

Song: Prepare a one-minute karaoke-style song in the style of the musical.
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for a dance audition.
Dance Audition: Be ready to learn and perform a dance routine.

Callbacks:

Callbacks will be conducted on the same day. Those auditioning for lead roles should keep their schedules clear from the afternoon until early evening to accommodate potential callback sessions.
