Auditions for “The Rocky Horror Show”
ARTx3 is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of The Rocky Horror Show. This iconic musical invites participants to immerse themselves in the outrageous world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his eccentric companions.
In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet find themselves stranded with a flat tire during a storm, leading them to the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As they encounter wild characters and experience elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter reveals his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Known for audience participation, The Rocky Horror Show promises a uniquely engaging experience complete with iconic props and memorable musical numbers.

Complete with audience sass, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience-participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is great fun for adults and a perfect way to celebrate the Halloween season!
The Rocky Horror Show with music, lyrics and book by Richard O’Brien, debuted in London’s West End in 1973. It was soon adapted into the 1975 musical film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Time: Auditions begin at 2 p.m. (Doors open at 1:30 p.m.)
Location: ARTx3, The Catherine M. Bellamy Theater at ASC
701 S Main St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601 (North of Little Rock, Arkansas)
“Cattle-call” style auditions. Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged.
Auditionees must be 18 or older. Auditions are open to all genders, races, and ethnicities.
All levels of theater experience are welcome; no prior experience required.
Important Notes:
The Rocky Horror Show features adult themes, language, and situations. It is not suitable for young audiences.
Characters will appear in varying states of dress and undress. Be prepared to wear revealing or skimpy clothing if cast.
Understanding the nature of the show is essential; research is recommended.
