Tennessee Medieval Faire is gearing up for its ninth season and is looking for enthusiastic participants to bring the High Middle Age to life. The Tennessee Medieval Faire is an outdoor interactive period-themed entertainment-oriented family-friendly festival.
Organizers are seeking costumed street characters, professional performers, and period-related vendors to create an immersive, theatrical experience based on the legend of Robin Hood.
Auditions for street characters will be held by scheduled video appointment through July 19. Interested individuals should prepare by reviewing the show premise, scripts, and theatre etiquette.

The audition process:
The auditions will involve singing, projecting with a British Isles accent, reading scripts, and participating in theatre games. While agile adults are preferred, mature and talented minors with a participating adult or reliable transportation will also be considered.
Theatrical experience is a plus. Successful actors will be invited to in-person callbacks on Saturday, July 20, from 2-5 p.m. at 150 Culton Lane, Kingston.
Weekly Saturday rehearsals will begin on July 27.
Professional comedy, dance, and acoustic musical acts are encouraged to audition by emailing their performance details and video links to DarkhorseLLC@comcast.net.
