CASTING CALL: LOOKING FOR ACTORS NEAR PASADENA, MD.
Want to play a classic movie monster? A production in Maryland is looking to cast actors in some classic monster roles for an upcoming production.
The project is seeking 4 male and 2 female actors to fill the roles.
SHOW SYNOPSIS: ( Genre- comedy)
Classic movie monsters are now living at “Universal Retirement Home. The scene takes place during their weekly therapy session- because monsters, like humans, have their own set of problems. And, there is a new doctor running this particular therapy session, with a hidden agenda.

PERFORMANCE DATES:
September 28 & 29 (The show is approximately 20 minutes and we will be scheduled for one performance a day.)

FrightReads Book Festival (at Benfield Sports Center)
1025 Benfield Blvd. Millersville, MD 21108
Pasadena, Maryland is located between Annapolis and Baltimore.
AUDITIONS:
August 14, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Pasadena, MD. (Location to be emailed along with a script to anyone who wishes to audition.)
REHEARSALS:
One week night a week, determined by cast availability (will not be on Friday) and will also be in Pasadena, MD.
CHARACTERS TO BE CAST: (Classic Movie Monsters)
- DRAY CULA (Dracula)- retired vampire and bloody persistent Casanova
- FRANKIE STEIN (Frankenstein)- retired animated corpse and frustrated husband of Lizy Beth
- LIZY BETH (Bride of Frankenstein)- retired re-animated corpse and reluctant wife of Frankie
- DR. HANNY B. LECTER (Hannibal Lecter) – the new therapist- or is he? (Has his own agenda)
- GRIFFIN (The Invisible Man) – peeping Tom, not a ghost!
- MARY (Bloody Mary) – dead evil woman trapped in a mirror
DETAILS:
• We will be doing two performances, one each day at the festival.
• This is an unpaid gig. However, each cast member will receive a copy of the performance, along with rights to use all photos and videos for their own personal reels and social media platforms. This includes any photo ops you decide to participate in.
• Director will provide and do all required horror makeup and props and will assist with any costuming ,should actors need assistance.
