PEOPLE TO PLAY DANCE CLASS INSTRUCTORS & ATTENDEES – New York.
Grant Wilfley Casting of New York City is seeking people to portray dance class instructors and attendees for the upcoming Amazon series Étoile. They are looking for individuals, ages 18-70, to play beginner to intermediate dance students and instructors in scenes set in dance school hallways. Filming will take place on July 24, 2024, in New York City. Participants must be comfortable appearing on camera in tights, leotards, or fitted dance attire. This is a paid opportunity, with compensation set at $250 for 8 hours of work.
Étoile is an upcoming Amazon drama series from the creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. Set in the intense and glamorous world of ballet, the show explores the lives of dancers as they navigate passion, rivalry, and the relentless pursuit of artistic excellence. The series promises to blend the creators’ signature storytelling with the high-stakes drama of the ballet world, offering an eight-episode journey confirmed for two seasons.
