Casting Call for 2025 Season of “Chicago Med”

Production is back on the NBC Chicago themed shows. Casting directors for the Chicago Med series are currently looking to cast area locals who would like to work as paid background actors on set. The show premiered in 2015 and is currently filming new episodes for the 2025 season of the show.

The casting notices are listed below.  Please only submit your information if you are local to the Chicagoland area and have the availability needed.  Please see the details of what they are casting for below. Please note that this is only for background actors / extras.

About the show:

The city’s most highly skilled medical team saves lives, while navigating their unique interpersonal relationships. The Gaffney Chicago Medical Center’s elite team of dedicated doctors, nurses and staff face challenges each day as they do what it takes to treat their patients, sometimes in surprisingly inventive ways. As the city’s last line of defense, doctors Charles, Reese, Halstead, Rhodes, Choi, and Manning; nurses Sexton and Lockwood; and hospital administrator Sharon Goodwin embody the heart of Dick Wolf’s triad of Chicago series.

 

CHICAGO MED CASTING NOTICE:

CHICAGO MED – CROSSOVER AVAILABILITY FORM.
IMPORTANT: This availability form is ONLY for Med’s first few days of the CROSSOVER episode. This will take us through the upcoming weekend, and then we’ll resume our regular episode filming schedule. When we go back to crossover dates, we’ll post a new availability form.

This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, ethnicity, ages 18 and older. You must have graduated from high school and not be attending classes at the time of submission. If we have any roles available for minors, we’ll post for that separately.

General background roles pay $129.60/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. No red or white vehicles, please. If you attend a wardrobe fitting, there will be a $25 bump added to your pay.

– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS so we don’t have to follow up and ask.
-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Saturday 11/23 and Monday 11/25. IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR A WARDROBE FITTING ON THURS 11/1 OR FRI 11/22, PLEASE LET US KNOW! Fittings typically only take 30 minutes, so it’s not a full-day commitment.
