Casting Call in Albany and Troy, New York for Paid Extras in “The Gilded Age”

The new season of the Gilded Age has been filming for some time now in the New York state area and has just released a new casting call for folks in Troy and Albany that would like to be cast in some small, non speaking roles in the new season of the popular show.

About the show:

“The Gilded Age,” created by Julian Fellowes, the mastermind behind Downton Abbey, is set during the opulent and transformative late 19th century. This period, marked by significant economic growth and stark social contrasts in the United States, serves as the backdrop for the series.

The show explores the intricate lives and complex relationships of the city’s elite, alongside the ambitious industrial magnates reshaping the nation. “The Gilded Age” highlights the era’s extravagant wealth, burgeoning technological advancements, and the deep social divides between the old money aristocracy and the new money tycoons.

Casting Notice:

GWCI Seeking Troy/Albany local minors to appear as background actors in the upcoming season of the gilded age. Filming in the Troy/Albany area tentatively shooting 8/16. SAG pay rate:$216/8hr. Costume fitting in Troy during the month of July.
