Casting Notice:
WILMINGTON, NC and SOUTHPORT, NC: THE WATERFRONT – SEEKING PUBLIC SERVICE TYPES FOR RECURRING ROLES – FILMING DATES TBD EARLY SEPTEMBER THROUGH MID-DECEMBER:
As always, we will do our best to give any of these roles at least a week’s heads-up before they are needed, but flexibility is key for these roles in particular!
Looking for people to portray different types of recurring public service background roles. PAY IS GUARANTEED $96/8 hours and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the 8th. Those submitting must have a flexible schedule, as each role will work frequently in the Wilmington and Southport, NC areas for the duration of filming.
The work dates for the first block of filming are TBD.
Some of these roles will get the chance to be bumped to a higher, Special Ability, rate if future scenes require it. All roles will need to attend a fitting sometime in the next two weeks (date TBD) in Wilmington, NC, and will receive a $20 fitting bump. Those submitting must have a clean-cut appearance, males must have in-regulation hair- OR be willing to allow our hair dept to cut it to regulation. If our hair department must cut your hair to be in regulation- you will receive a $20 bump.

NOTE: To portray this role, you should have some real-world bartending experience.
FINE DINING HOSTESS (RECURRING):

FISH HOUSE EMPLOYEES (RECURRING):

NOTE: To portray this role, you should have real-world familiarity with Fish houses and MUST be comfortable in a wet, smelly environment, much like an actual fish house! Though not required, Huge plus if you come from a fishing background and have experience cleaning fish- if ever asked for you will have the opportunity to get bumped up to special ability.
FINE DINING WAITSTAFF (RECURRING):
Any Gender/Ethnicity
Ages: 18+
NOTE: To portray this role, you should have some real-world, waitstaff experience.
HOYT’S FRIENDS (RECURRING):
Male, Any Ethnicity
Ages: late 20s – late 30s
NOTE: Seeking those with a “rough around the edges” look to portray blue collar fishermen types. To portray this role, you should have real-world fishing knowledge and MUST be comfortable on a docked or stationary boat if required.
JENNA’S DAD (RECURRING):
Male
Ages: Late 60s to late 70s
NOTE: To portray this role, we ideally want someone with a weathered, sickly look.
NANNY (RECURRING):
Female, Any Ethnicity
Ages: 20s – 40s
