For 53 floors every morning, four corporate go-getters trade tips on how not to get fired.*
We are seeking to cast the following roles for a 5-minute short film:
>Celeste: Female, 25-30. An enthusiastic disciple of the free market. She speaks like Young Sheldon with an MBA.
>Audrey: Female, 25-30. The smart one who recognizes the forces at play. She is somewhere between Sherlock Holmes and the Matrix’s Oracle.
>Graham: Male, 25-30. A joker who enjoys the trappings of the job, and thinks a little too highly of himself. Mostly Chandler Bing, with some Fonzie sprinkles.
>Ingrid: Female, 50s. Cool and casually cruel. A blend of the Mrs. Robinson and Nurse Ratched varietals.
The backdrop is a stuffy corporate world, so no tattoos or piercings that are visible in business attire.
The auditions will take place Sunday, November 3, in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
We will do one rehearsal over Zoom.
The one-day shoot will be on the weekend of November 16-17 in Hyde Park. The Celeste, Audrey, and Graham roles will need 6-8 hours. Ingrid will need 1-2 hours.
The payments are:
$50 for the Celeste, Audrey, and Graham roles
$20 for the Ingrid role.

Please email a resume, head shot, a link to a reel, and let us know which role you are interested in. For the audition we will ask you for a comedic monologue of your choice (<60 sec), and to read from the “Going Up” script (which we will send you ahead of time). You don’t need to have anything memorized.
