Casting the female lead in “The Twisted Ones,” a short independent horror film. This film has an estimated running time of 12 minutes.
Synopsis:
After a crash that totaled her car and left her with huge doctor bills, Amber Wheeler puts herself on GoFundMe seeking donations. At first she gets little backing, just a few dollars from friends. Then she receives a $1,000 donation from an unknown benefactor. In return, the contributor emails her and makes a strange request of her. Complying, she finds another $1,000 donated the next day, followed by another request. Soon Amber finds herself ruled by her unknown benefactor’s requests, as her desire for his donations drives her to perform feats of increasing risk and danger. Until he makes one request that terrifies her.
Amber is unambitious, and is the victim of her own passions. She makes sudden decisions, often bad ones. And as a result she continually digs herself deeper and deeper holes. When offered money on her GoFundMe she pursues it blindly and without question or judgment.
You have several changes of clothes, though mostly tops. For much of the film you will have to wear a medical boot on one leg (the character is recovering from a broken leg). For those scenes you need to wear shorts and are barefoot. Nearly all your scenes are interiors. You have a nude scene in the film. This is full nudity.
This is a daytime, single day shoot for Sunday, December 15th. Compensation for the role is $250 paid in cash at the end of the shoot. Please make sure you’ve read the full character description and please state that in your cover letter.
