Productions of popular TV shows Chicago PD and Chicago Med are in production for the new 2025 season.
The show generally casts stand ins, photo doubles and extras from in and around the Chicago area.
NBC’s “One Chicago” franchise, featuring “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago P.D.,” continues to film in Chicago, bringing authentic, city-based drama to audiences. A recent casting call has been announced for stand-ins and extras to join the set of “Chicago Fire.”

“Chicago P.D.,” an essential piece of the franchise, premiered in 2014 and centers on the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department, helmed by the determined Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe. Known for its realistic portrayal of crime-solving, the series dives deep into the lives of officers as they face high-stakes cases, complex moral choices, and deeply personal struggles. It highlights the challenges of law enforcement in a gritty, dynamic city while exploring the bonds and conflicts within the team. “Chicago P.D.” has gained acclaim for its diverse cast, intense storytelling, and willingness to address the gray areas of police work.

-Chicago PD – Episode 1212 General Availability Form-
We’re collecting submissions for Episode 1212 of Chicago PD.
There’s some featured and director-selected roles that need to be selected ASAP, and we have some big filming days right out of the gate, so we’ll be getting a jump on bookings Monday morning.
If your availability changes after you submit the form, you can click on the same link and update your dates!
This submission form is for general background roles, but we may reach out to certain individuals if they fit the bill for anything featured or director-selected.
Submissions are open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 2 and older. Yes, we are looking for kids of all ages!
General background roles pay $129.60/8 for ages 16 and older. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. No red or white vehicles, please. Minors (ages 15 and younger) are paid $160/8.

-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Thursday 11/14 and Tuesday 11/26. We do not film on weekends (M-F only).
DO NOT FORGET TO PROVIDE YOUR AVAILABLE DATES! You must have ALL-DAY availability if you are submitting to work. Filming (for adults) typically lasts 8-12 hours, but we cannot guarantee the call/wrap time, so you have to be completely free without time constraints.
