West Bend Children’s Theatre Announcing auditions for the musical “How I Became a Pirate.”

West Bend Children’s Theatre is gearing up for its 92nd season in 2025 with a production of How I Became a Pirate, a lively musical that follows young Jeremy Jacobs as he embarks on an adventurous journey with Braid Beard and his pirate crew.
Auditions for the production will take place on Monday, January 6, and Tuesday, January 7, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Silverbrook Intermediate School Choir Room, with callbacks set for Wednesday, January 8, if needed.
Most roles are open to adults, with a few available for children over age 10. Attendees only need to come to one of the audition dates. A read-through is scheduled for January 12 at 6 p.m.

The show will run April 9–12, 2025, at the Silver Lining Arts Center at West Bend High School, with performances held primarily during school hours. Rehearsals will be conducted in the evenings and some Saturdays starting in February.
Founded in 1933, West Bend Children’s Theatre is the area’s longest-running community theatre organization and is a nonprofit 501(c)3 dedicated to bringing live musical theatre to schoolchildren and providing scholarships to local high school seniors.
