AUDITIONS: Legally Blonde
“Elle Woods appears to have it all until her boyfriend dumps her to attend Harvard Law. Determined to win him back, Elle charms her way into the prestigious law school, where she faces challenges from peers, professors, and her ex. Auditions on March 20th and 21st, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Cotton Hall Theater, located at 158 E. Main Street, Colquitt, GA.
Actors auditioning will:
- Perform a reading from a section of the script.
- Sing a verse and chorus of a pop-inspired musical theater song of their choice.
- Provide contact information and sign medical and press releases.
- Most roles will not be double cast, so please be confident in your availability for April and May.
- Actors under 18 must have a parent accompany them to sign paperwork. Concerned individuals can view the original production’s content via this link: [YouTube video link].
- We seek a diverse cast, and everyone is welcome to audition for any role. Participation is free, and all ages are welcome, although the youngest characters are COLLEGE FRESHMEN. Cast members should feasibly portray that age or older.
Rehearsals will run from March 26th to May 2nd, with show dates on May 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th, 2024.
Please refrain from auditioning if you anticipate missing multiple rehearsals or shows.
