Phoenix Stage Company in Oakville, CT holding open auditions.
The community theater is looking for local actors and actresses for the theater’s production of “The Legend of Georgia McBride” which will be performed this spring in early May.
Auditions:
Monday, February 26, 2024 from 7-9pm
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 7-9pm
He’s young, he’s broke, his landlord’s knocking at the door, and he’s just found out his wife is going to have a baby. To make matters even more desperate, Casey is fired from his gig as an Elvis impersonator in a run-down, small-town Florida bar. When the bar owner brings in a B-level drag show to replace his act, Casey finds that he has a whole lot to learn about show business—and himself.
We are seeking 4 men and 1 woman. No appointments needed. Sides will be provided.
Rehearsals will be held Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

EDDIE: Male, 50’s – 60’s. The Manager and Emcee. (a terrible emcee)
CASEY: Male, 20’s – Elvis impersonator, young husband
JO: Female, African-American, 20’s – Casey’s wife
MISS TRACEY MILLS: Male, 40’s – 50’s
REXY/JASON: Male, 20’s-30’s
