Tanglin’ Hearts is a story about love and longing, betrayal and loyalty, families and greed. When Jesse Wells, a country singer-songwriter returns home to Arden County, Texas after a few years on the road, he finds out that his brother Webb is about to sell their family ranch to greedy local big-shot Ben Fredericks, as part of his massive and destructive recreational development, Benworld. Jackie, who runs The Tip-Toe Inn, a honky-tonk saloon where the locals gather—and some hide way—is the lone holdout against Ben’s unscrupulous plans. As the story unwinds, all are not who they seem, truths are revealed, hearts are mended like broken fences, and the complexities of simple lives carry on….just like in a country song.
