Sugarloaf Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for this summer’s musical, “Through the Looking Glass,” directed by Seamus Schwaba, the executive director of Sugarloaf Theatre.
To help aspiring performers prepare, Seamus Schwaba will host a free, one-day audition workshop on June 3 from 6-7 p.m. at Cornerstone Community Church. This workshop is open to all adults and children aged 12 and up.
Auditions:
On June 29 all adults and children 12+ are invited to audition from 6:00-8:00 pm and if cast participate free of charge. All auditionees will be asked to register online for a 5-minute audition slot within that time frame. In addition, auditionees will be asked to prepare a roughly one-minute-long excerpt of a song of their choice to be sung with our piano accompanist. They will also be asked to provide Piano/Vocal sheet music for their song.
Rehearsals for the cast will be every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm starting July 7. This schedule may vary the week leading up the the performance.
Performances will be held on August 15 and 16 at 6:00 pm and August 17 at 2:00 pm.
