Casting Information:
- Seeking adult and young-adult actors to play characters of varying ages.
- Roles available for 4 adults and an ensemble. Ensemble roles are physical and require extensive movement.

Show Synopsis:
“Puffs” is a fast-paced, award-winning play that offers a fresh and humorous take on the magical world of a certain boy wizard. The story follows the often-overlooked Puffs, a group of well-meaning and loyal students at a magical school, as they navigate the perils of their magical education. The play features over 150 characters played by just four cast members, including onstage antics like a plane crash. It’s a tale of friendship, loyalty, and finding one’s place in the world.

- 1st Weekend:
October 18-20 (Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2:00 p.m.) - 2nd Weekend:
October 24-27 (Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2:00 p.m.) - 3rd Weekend:
October 31-November 2 (Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) - Strike:

Rehearsal Schedule:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays:
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (later as performance dates approach) - Sundays:
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (later as performance dates approach) - Saturday mornings:
Set construction and choreography until the set is complete and dances are learned.
What to Prepare:
- A side from the show for the part you’re interested in (provided upon audition sign-up).
- Auditions will be by individual appointment. Sign up for a half-hour audition slot.
- While efforts will be made to stay on schedule, be prepared to stay past your allotted time if needed.
- A reader will be provided.
What to Bring:
- Headshot and resume (if not submitted digitally).
- A list of conflicts for the rehearsal dates (if not submitted digitally). Note that conflicts may affect casting decisions.
Additional Information:
- Puffs is an ensemble-based, fast-paced show requiring actors to play multiple roles and remain active throughout.
- Accommodations for physical limitations are available; list any needs on your audition form.
- Actors of all genders, ages, races, body types, physical abilities, and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
- Actors must be willing to play the gender associated with their character, though any gender can be cast for any role.
- The play is a parody and not associated with J.K. Rowling or Warner Bros., and does not benefit or endorse Rowling. The production values diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating a safe space for theater makers of all gender identities.
