Casting Call for Extras: HBO’s / MAX “And Just Like That”
HBO’s spin-off of “Sex and the City,” titled “And Just Like That,” is currently casting extras in the New York City area.
This show reunites the original cast some 20 years later. Previously navigating city life in their 30s, Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte now find themselves in their 50s, grappling with the complexities of life and friendship. Premiering on HBOmax in 2021 (HBOmax has since change the name of the streaming service to Max), the series has been renewed for a second season, currently in production in New York City.
About the Show: In “And Just Like That,” the beloved characters of “Sex and the City” transition from the camaraderie of their 30s to the nuanced realities of womanhood in their 50s. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis return as Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, respectively. Notably, Samantha’s character is absent, having relocated to London as Kim Cattrall chose not to reprise her role. Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, and Evan Handler also reprise their roles from the original series. Willie Garson, who passed away in September 2021, makes his final television appearance as Stanford Blatch.
