Are you a candy maker, cake decorator or an amazing pumpkin carver? If so, the annual Food Network series may want to cast you for the show.

The seasonal Halloween themed reality competition show is coming back this year with a new season and there is an online casting call out for competitors. The reality competition series comes from Super Delicious, the production company behind some other candy and sweets related shows such as Cupcake Wars and Cake Wars.

Since it is a reality competition, there is a prize for the winners. For the last season, season 13, the winning team was awarded $25,000. “Halloween Wars” normally premiers in late September or early October and the season runs only runs 4 weeks.

In every episode, teams of three compete in two rounds. The initial round, dubbed the “Small Scare,” grants each trio 45 minutes to craft their take on a spooky theme such as “possessed electronics.” The victors of this round earn an additional assistant for the subsequent round. Notably, starting in season three, winners of the final episode’s “Small Scare” round gain priority in selecting pumpkins for the next phase… and since this is “Halloween Wars,” getting first dibs on the pumpkins is a big deal.
