Casting Call: Chicago PD & Chicago Med – Illinois & Wisconsin Area

NBC’s hit TV series Chicago PD and Chicago Med are filming the 2024/2025 season, and this is your chance to be part of the action! If you’re in the Illinois or Wisconsin area, you could land a role as an extra or stand-in.

Location: Chicago, IL and surrounding areas
Shows: Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire
Roles: Stand-ins, photo doubles, and extras

As these popular shows return to the streets of Chicago, the casting directors are searching for local talent to fill various small roles. This includes stand-ins who closely match the main cast members, photo doubles for specific scenes, and background extras to add authenticity to the city environment.

Don’t live in Chicago? Many other shows are also now hiring actors to fill background roles.

Chicago PD is a cornerstone of the “One Chicago” franchise, renowned for its gripping portrayal of the Chicago Police Department’s Intelligence Unit. Led by the formidable Sergeant Hank Voight (played by Jason Beghe), the show delves into the high-stakes world of crime-solving, moral challenges, and the deep camaraderie among officers. With its realistic storytelling and diverse cast, Chicago PD has become a fan favorite for its intense drama and complex characters.

Whether you’re an aspiring actor or just looking for an experience on set, this is your opportunity to be part of one of NBC’s most beloved franchises.

Please note that casting directors are no longer accepting professional headshots or anything that looks like a filter has been applied. Chicago show’s casting team actually needs to know exactly what you look like…right now. Furthermore, the need for background actors requires authenticity which means that Chicago area applicants need to look like real folks.
