Auditions for IC Unbound Dance Co.’s Fall 2024 company are happening on Sunday, September 8th at 6 PM in the Fitness Center. Check-in begins at 5:30 PM.
About IC Unbound: We are Ithaca College’s largest and longest-running dance company, entirely student-led and offering choreography in various styles, including jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. We hold a showcase each semester and provide numerous performance opportunities throughout the year. Our company is more than just dance; we focus on building a strong community with company-wide bonding events, creating a close-knit dance family.
During auditions, you’ll have the chance to select how much you want to be involved. Choreographers will present snippets of their pieces, and you can choose which ones to audition for and how many hours per week you’d like to commit—ranging from 1 to 5 hours. After auditions, we’ll inform you on the same night which dances you’ve been selected for. Aside from your chosen classes, the only other commitments are three Sunday evening all-company rehearsals and our optional (but highly encouraged) promotional photo and video shoots!
