American Idol Auditions coming to Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas this week.
“Idol Across America” is back. The show is ready to find the next singing sensation for the 2025 season of “American Idol.” Idol is now accepting online audition applications. American Idol casting directors are in the process of holding state by state virtual live auditions.
For over two decades, “American Idol” has been a launching pad for some of the brightest stars in music. With its signature blend of auditions, live performances, and viewer voting, the show has become a cultural phenomenon, helping aspiring artists from all walks of life kickstart their music careers. “Idol Across America,” the show’s nationwide audition tour, offers singers across the United States the chance to showcase their talent and share their unique stories.

Virtual auditions are coming up on the 14th of this month. The audition tour kicked off today beginning with Alabama and a few more southern states. If you want to tryout to be on American Idol, the first step is to register. Idol has opened online applications for singers looking for their big break and a chance to audition.
If you missed today’s auditions, you will get another chance. Once the state by state auditions are complete, the IDOL team will hold some more general virtual auditions.
Auditions for “Idol Across America” kicked off in the southern states on August 12 and will be coming back to the South East on the 16th.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Participants must be born on or between June 2, 1995, and February 15, 2010.
- Contestants must be legal U.S. residents authorized to participate in the entire competition.
- Candidates must not be running for public office and must agree not to become a candidate for public office until one year after the final episode of the program in which they appear airs.
