“My Gift to You” follows Melissa, an introverted but observant eighteen-year-old whose life revolves around her younger brother, Joshua. After a tragic accident on Joshua’s eighth birthday, Melissa is left to confront her grief and guilt. When her parents refuse to acknowledge Joshua’s sudden passing, Melissa seeks dangerous counsel from her uninhibited high school best friend, Tyse. This leads her on a spiraling journey of loss, self-discovery, and a symbolic plate of unsalted potatoes that will forever change her perspective on the world.
