How to Audition for American Idol:

While many of the live auditions have already taken place, there are still opportunities to secure your spot in the competition. An East Coast Open Call is happening tomorrow, and video submissions are still being accepted, giving you a shot at impressing the Idol casting team from the comfort of your own home.

Even though the state-by-state Idol Across America virtual auditions have mostly wrapped up, you can still submit online auditions and potentially earn your chance to sing on the big stage.

How to Register:

To audition, prospective contestants need to register on the official ABC website to reserve a time slot for a virtual audition. This process allows you to showcase your singing talent live in front of producers from the show.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Contestants must have been born between June 2, 1995, and February 15, 2010.
  • You must be a legal U.S. resident with authorization to compete in the entire show.
  • Contestants cannot be running for public office and must agree not to do so until at least one year after their final appearance on the show airs.

How to Submit Your Audition: If you’re unable to join the live virtual audition, Idol is still accepting video submissions. You can upload your audition video directly to their website for the producers to review.

“American Idol” auditions began in the US months ago and most of the open calls have actually taken place. However, you still have a shot at getting on the show as there will be an east coast open call tomorrow and Idol is still accepting video auditions that can be sent to the Idol casting team.

While Idol Across America has ended, for the most part their state by state Virtual, live auditions, they are still accepting individual auditions online.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Participants must be born on or between June 2, 1995, and February 15, 2010.
  • Contestants must be legal U.S. residents authorized to participate in the entire competition.
  • Candidates must not be running for public office and must agree not to become a candidate for public office until one year after the final episode of the program in which they appear airs.
