Project: Netflix – Proof of Concept SHORT
Shoot Location: NASHVILLE, TN area
–MUST be able to work in the NASHVILLE, TN area as a LOCAL HIRE!! (Transportation/Accommodation will not be provided)
WORK DATE:
SATURDAY – JANUARY 11th, 2025
-we do NOT have exact Call/Wrap times, so you should have FULL day available to allow for whatever the Call Time ends up being.
SAG/AFTRA Ultra Low Budget contract
PAY Rate:
$241.00 for up to 12 hours (will most likely NOT be that many hours but you will be paid for the full day even if you get wrapped sooner than 12). No additional Agency compensation (if represented)
ROLE:
SUPPORTING – to portray a real life person with the following characteristics
[NORMAN] Male, White. Early to mid-50s. Jewish, Civil Rights Activist, preservationist, best friends with Picasso. 1950s music producer. Managerial, firm but caring. Should have a professional look typical of a 1950s music producer. Must be able to portray a mix of business acumen and genuine care for Ella’s well-being. Ability to convincingly handle scenes involving negotiation and management.A confident, business-minded individual with a deep understanding and appreciation for jazz. He is both a mentor and a friend to Ella Fitzgerald, with a mixture of care and tough love in his interactions with her. Dapper, character Actor with a strong screen presence who can portray the dual roles of a supportive friend and a shrewd manager. Experience in period pieces or biopics is a plus. SUPPORTING Role with DIALOGUE.
Acting experience will be required. MUST be Nashville TN LOCAL HIRE. (**See Photo for REFERENCE of real life person)
