Casting Extras: HBO’s “And Just Like That” in NYC

Grant Wilfley Casting is currently seeking background actors for the Max series “And Just Like That.”  The MAX  series is filming in various areas of NYC. The production requires a diverse group of individuals to portray mourners for the funeral of a renowned Black theater owner in New Jersey. The scene will reflect a vibrant mix of attendees ages 20s to 80s.

HBO’s “And Just Like That,” the spin-off of the iconic series “Sex and the City,” is casting extras in the New York City area. This series reunites the beloved cast two decades after the original, portraying them as they navigate life in their 50s. While the original show followed the friends in their 30s exploring city life, the sequel dives into their experiences and challenges as women over 50. Premiering on HBO Max in 2021, “And Just Like That” has been renewed for another season in 2024/2025, which is currently in production in NYC.

Casting Notice:

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people to portray the following for the Max series “AND JUST LIKE THAT.”
MOURNERS: Men & Women, 20s-80s age range, artists, theater types, politicians, Newark locals. This is the funeral of a very well known and respected Black Theater Owner in NJ.

His funeral will be well attended and full of a colorful mix of various types and vibes attending & paying their respects.
Day shoot, Interior, Manhattan.
Tentative Shoot Dates: Wednesday 6/26
