The Memphis, Tennessee NBA team The Grizzlies, will be holding auditions for cheerleaders.

The Memphis cheer squad, the Grizz girls will be holding open auditions this summer for dancers who would like to join the dance team that performs at the NBA games.

The Memphis Grizzlies are a professional basketball team based out of Memphis, Tennessee. The Grizzlies compete as a member of the Southwest Division of the Western Conference. The Grizzlies play their home games at FedExForum in Memphis and will be holding the open auditions for dancer and cheer squad members at the FedEx Forum this summer. They currently have announced their open call dates and those interested in getting an edge on the competition can also attend some dance classes and workshops prior to the auditions. Please note that while it is free to audition, the workshops to prepare for the auditions require a small payment and the work shops are optional. The workshops are designed to allow dancers that are planning on auditioning, a chance to learn the routines and choreography beforehand.

They will be offering a variety of preparation classes and pre audition workshops with prices that range from $15 to $25 per person and are being held from now up until the open auditions in July.

Rehearsals are Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday evenings and are closed to public
Call time for games is 3 hours before tip-off. Typically, 4 PM
Uniforms for dancers will be provided
Hair and Makeup maintenance will be provided during the season
Team members will have the opportunity to work at over 100 promotional appearances and 41 games a season
This is a part time paid position
