Open auditions for the Miami Heat NBA dance team / cheerleader tryouts are coming up. If you live in the Miami area and have always dreamed of being part of the show during NBA games, here is your chance. Open auditions are being held this weekend.

In-person Open Auditions will take place on Sunday, July 28th inside Kaseya Center.
Open Audition Date:
Sunday, July 28, 2024.
In-person registration will run from 10:00am – 11:00am
Location:
Kaseya Center- 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33132
Parking:
Free parking in the P2 Garage, located on the south side of the arena
Entry:
Enter through Gate 4 on 8th st, located on the north side of the arena
Requirements: In order to be eligible for auditions, all candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years of age by July 28, 2024
- Bring a government-issued ID, a dance or professional resumé, and 5×7” headshot (not returnable)
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Have flexible schedules for rehearsals, games, and community/charitable appearances during the season
- Reside or be willing to commute to the South Florida area for all dancer-related activities
- Have at least 5 years of dance training (strongly recommended)
- Have the athletic fitness to perform high-energy routines and advanced dance techniques/skills
Attire:
A form-fitting, two-piece outfit—no baggy clothes
Full performance makeup
Dance or athletic shoes with non-marking soles (heels, combat boots and shoes with marking soles are not permitted)
