Netflix’s The Waterfront is now filming in North Carolina and there are casting calls out to fill a few small roles.
The Waterfront is a family drama inspired by true events, exploring the rise and fall of the Buckley family as they fight to preserve their North Carolina fishing empire. Faced with a crumbling business and mounting pressures, the Buckleys resort to increasingly dangerous tactics to stay afloat, testing their loyalties and pushing them to the brink. The series promises a compelling mix of family conflict, crime, and drama, with a narrative that delves into how far one family will go to protect their legacy.

Kevin Williamson, the writer behind iconic hits like Scream and Dawson’s Creek, is a part of “The Waterfront” and is credited for writing.
Holt McCallany stars as Harlan Buckley, the patriarch of the family. Maria Bello, as Mae Buckley, plays a woman struggling to hold the business together, using questionable and increasingly desperate methods.
