A new project is filming in Nashville this fall.
Background extras casting directors with JA Casting (Jenny Alison) announced the project as a brand new Amazon series.
This new Amazon series will be filming in Nashville this fall and they will be hiring lots of background extras. Filming is set to begin at the end of October and run through early March. While, the casting notice did not specifically state the name of the Amazon project, there is a good chance it is “Kay Scarpetta” or “Scarpetta.” Yes, there have been some confliction reports on the title of the upcoming Amazon Prime series.
Kay Scarpetta will be an Amazon Prime Video series created by Liz Sarnoff, adapted from the popular book series by Patricia Cornwell. The show is produced by Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis, both of whom also star in the series.

The story follows Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a brilliant and trailblazing forensic pathologist, as she uses her expertise to solve complex criminal cases. Patricia Cornwell’s novels, which have garnered a huge fanbase, are known for their meticulous detail in forensic science. Nevertheless, Kidman and Curtis, both acclaimed actresses, bring star power to the project.
