CASTING CALL: Non Union
The Thin White Line is seeking actors and production staff for this summer’s production at the Hudson Guild Theater. Set in 1990’s New York, we are looking for a variety of types, 20’s/30’s. These are speaking roles with minimum dialogue with major stage presence.
Roles:
Jackie Duggan/Detective Brewer: White, male, 20’s/30’s, brown hair, handsome.
Detective Flattery: White, male, late 20’s/mid 30’s, handsome, brown hair.
Detective Wheeler: White, male, 20’s/30’s (Production Staff*)
Detective Gannon: White, male, 20’s/30’s (Production Staff*)
Performance Dates and Times:
Wednesday, July 10th at 4pm
Friday, July 12th at 6:30pm
Sunday, July 14th at 1pm
Tech Rehearsal:
Wednesday, July 10th from 11:30am-1:30pm
Requirements:
Must be available for all performance dates and the tech rehearsal.
Non-union actors only.

THE THIN WHITE LINE is a true crime story, based on actual events that deals with the white privilege inherent in the justice system in New York, and across America.
After a young white man from Brooklyn is accused of brandishing a gun, threatening an Arab Taxi Driver, a white Detective attempts to tip the scale of justice in the favor of the white suspect, who looks like he could be “One of the Boys.” Things get heated when the Police lineup takes an unexpected turn, but little does the Detective know the real consequences are yet to come.
