Auditions are open online for the upcoming HBO/MAX TV series based on the beloved Harry Potter book series by J.K. Rowling. That’s right Harry Potter is coming to the small screen in 2025 and it looks like it will be HBO, now called MAX that will be bringing the upcoming show to their network.

The search for the next Harry, Ron, and Hermione is officially underway! HBO has launched a casting call for the three lead roles in its highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series. This exciting reboot will feature new faces to portray the iconic trio: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.
Requirements:
Children interested in auditioning must be between the ages of 9-11 by April 2025 and residents of the UK or Ireland. The casting process will be inclusive, welcoming submissions from all races, ethnicities, and gender identities.
Audition Details:
To apply, participants are asked to prepare a brief performance—either a poem, story, or monologue of their choice. However, selections from Harry Potter are not allowed. The performance should be no longer than 30 seconds, and applicants are encouraged to use their natural accent for authenticity.
This open call is a unique opportunity for young actors to bring these beloved characters to life. With the submission deadline set for October 31, 2024, aspiring stars should act quickly to apply and take part in this magical journey.
