Idol Across America is back and coming to a city near you! Idol is taking online audition applications for the 2025 season of American Idol.
“American Idol” has captivated audiences old and young, for over two decades. Idol is credited with discovering some of the brightest singing stars in the country. With its signature format of auditions, live performances, and viewer voting, the show has created a platform for aspiring artists and singers to launch their music careers. “Idol Across America,” the show’s audition tour, allows contestants from all corners of the United States to showcase their vocal abilities and unique stories.

Recent auditions for American Idol have been in the form of virtual auditions and the production is not actually stating what the format of the 2024/2025 Idol tryouts will be yet. However, the show is requiring that all interested register for Idol online first after which, details will be revealed.

Registration and application for IDOL:
Prospective contestants can register on the ABC website to reserve their time slot for a virtual audition. See below.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Participants must be born on or between June 2, 1995, and February 15, 2010.
- Contestants must be legal U.S. residents authorized to participate in the entire competition.
- Candidates must not be running for public office and must agree not to become a candidate for public office until one year after the final episode of the program in which they appear airs.
