The Utah Jazz are hosting auditions for skilled vocalists and instrumentalists to perform the National Anthem during the 2024-2025 NBA season.
NBA’s Utah Jazz is inviting soloists and duets to showcase their talents. If you are a singer or musician, living in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, come on down and attend the open audition call.
Casting directors for the Utah Jazz are looking for singers with powerful voices that can fill the arena. This NBA team needs many singers as different singers get a chance to showcase their singing talent at different games and many will be chosen for the season. However, there is no pay here.
To compensate singers for their time, singers chosen for the various games will receive 4 tickets for the game they are chosen to perform at. Furthermore, the team will not be allowing singers chosen to pick the dates or games they will perform at or get tickets to. Producers state on the team’s NBA page that all games / dates will be assigned by the team and not chosen by the singers.

The recording must be recent (within 12 months) and free from distracting background noise and echoes.

Registration starts at 8:30 A.M., with performances beginning at 9:00 A.M. No new registrations will be accepted after 11:00 A.M.
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Delta Center, 301 West South Temple. Enter through door 5 on the northeast side of the building.
What to expect at auditions:
Upon arrival, please enter through door 5, located behind the Jazz Note statue on the plaza. A guest service ambassador will guide you to the registration area. After registering, you will be escorted to the performance area, where performances will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. We will start promptly at 9:00 A.M. and continue until the last registrant has performed. Once you’ve completed your performance, you are free to leave.
If you’re unable to attend in person, electronic submissions are also welcome. Please see the instructions below for details on how to submit your performance. Remember, the audition process can be a nerve-wracking experience, so we encourage everyone to be supportive and considerate of fellow participants.
