OPEN AUDITIONS for ROCK OF AGES – all roles are available.
The original Broadway smash-hit production is back to celebrate its 15th anniversary. This five-time Tony Award-nominated musical tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy, and a rock ‘n’ roll romance on the Sunset Strip. But when the bar where rock reigns supreme is set to be demolished, it’s up to these wannabe rockers and their band of friends to save the day – and the music. Rock of Ages’ electric score features all your favorite ‘80s rock anthems and power ballads, including: “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn,” “I Wanna Know What Love Is,” “Here I Go Again,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and bands like Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and more!
WHO: Seeking a large, multi-racial cast for age-appropriate roles.
WHAT: Prepare 24 bars of a song, participate in a dance audition, and perform a cold read from the script.
WHERE: Community Building, 201 Canterbury Lane, Door A, Bolingbrook, IL.
WHEN: July 28 from 5-9pm and July 29 from 7-10pm. Callbacks (if needed) will be on August 1.
OR submit a virtual audition via video with 24 bars of a song, a short dance, and a monologue appropriate to the show. Register and send the video to TOTHauditions@gmail.com by July 29.
NOTE: Priority will be given to those who register in advance. Non-registered walk-ins will be auditioned as time permits.
