Join us at Sesame Place and help bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to people from around the world. We’re seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors.

Auditions begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Check in begins at 4:30 PM
Audition for one or more of the following roles:
- Entertainer, Costume Character (Performer I)
- Entertainer, Costume Character (Performer II, Actor/Vocalist)
- Entertainer, Costume Character (Performer II, Puppeteer Performer)
- Entertainer, Costume Character (Performer II, Stage Performer)
Where:
Sesame Place Administration Building (100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA, 19047)
Auditions will start promptly at their start times, so please plan on being there 10-15 minutes in advance to sign in!
Dancers/Performers – Please come dressed to dance! Sneakers or dance shoes required
Actor/Vocalists – please prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo, pop or rock song to be sung acapella. Be prepared for cold script readings and come dressed to dance. Sneakers or dance shoes required.
Puppeteers – Puppets will be provided for auditions and come dressed to dance. Sneakers or dance shoes required. You will learn a basic puppeteer exercise and be asked to lip-sync to Sesame Street music
Prepare for the Audition
- Prepare a resume and headshot, which will be retained by the audition team
- Be sure to arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins
- Auditioning can be a lengthy process; you may be asked to stay for an interview
- All positions require ambassadors to perform in character costumes.
- You must be able to perform in extreme temperatures, including summer weather
- You must be able to stand for long periods of time.
These roles require athletic and cardio endurance, physical story-telling abilities, and strong performance energy
