Audition for the Broadway and National Touring Companies of Wicked!
Open auditions are coming to Las Vegas, Nevada this month. Auditions are being held for performers, both singers and dancers mid month on the 14th & the 15th.
Step into the world of Wicked, the hit musical that reimagines the beloved story of The Wizard of Oz from the unique perspective of its most famous witches. Inspired by Gregory Maguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, this acclaimed production delves into the untold backstory of Oz’s iconic characters.
Set in the time before Dorothy’s arrival, Wicked explores the unexpected friendship between Elphaba, the misunderstood and powerful Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, the charming and popular Good Witch of the North. Through captivating music and storytelling, audiences are taken on a journey through the trials, triumphs, and choices that shape the Land of Oz as we know it.

Seeking singers who move well, ages 18+, any ethnicity, any gender, with fantastic voices and wide
vocal ranges, for principal and ensemble roles.
Seeking dancers who sing, ages 18-35, any ethnicity, any gender, who have strong ballet/jazz technique for Wayne Cilento’s edgy, contemporary choreography, for ensemble roles.

OPEN CALL AUDITIONS FOR SINGERS:
DATE: Thursday, November 14, 2024 LOCATION: The Rock Center for Dance, 8210 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89123
Sign-in begins at 10:00am
Please do not arrive prior to 9:30am. Singers must arrive prior to 11:00am to be considered. Please prepare to sing a cappella 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song showing range. Sopranos may sing 16 bars of a traditional legit musical theatre song showing range. Please also bring sheet music in case you are asked to sing with piano accompaniment. Please bring a photo/resume stapled together.

Please do not arrive prior to 10:00am. Dancers must arrive prior to 11:30am to be considered. Please wear jazz shoes or sneakers and arrive warmed up and ready to dance. In case you are asked to return to sing, please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre or pop song. Please bring sheet music for the piano accompanist provided. Please bring a photo/resume stapled together.
Potential callbacks for Singers will occur on Friday, November 15.
Potential callbacks for Dancers will occur on Saturday, November 16. Equity and Non-Equity performers are welcome to attend.
