Auditions Announced for Teen Theatre’s Production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
The Ned R. McWherter West TN Cultural Arts Center’s Teen Theatre is holding auditions for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, based on the acclaimed novel by Mark Haddon.
Winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, this powerful production will be directed by Will Burke.
Audition Details:
Dates: Monday, November 25 & Tuesday, November 26
Time: 4:00 PM both days
Location: The Ned (Old City Hall building)
Callbacks, if needed, will be held on Wednesday, November 27.
About the Play:
The story follows 15-year-old Christopher Boone, a math prodigy with autism, who stumbles upon a mystery when he discovers his neighbor’s dog, Wellington, has been killed. Against his father’s wishes, Christopher sets out to find the culprit, embarking on a life-changing journey that reveals family secrets and challenges his courage. The play offers a unique insight into Christopher’s world and explores his relationships with his parents and a supportive school mentor.
