Legacy Chorale is holding open auditions for singers.
Choir for adults of all ages and high school singers (grades 11-12)
Adult Choir Auditions:
August 7 & 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Auditions will be held at the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd, MN.
The Legacy Chorale of Minnesota is a vocal ensemble in central Minnesota. The community singing group performs a diverse repertoire that spans classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions.
What to expect at auditions?
A 20 minute meeting to go over your audition form and sing for the Legacy Chorale Director, Mike Smith.
Anticipate vocal exercises on neutral vowels to hear vocal range and quality.
Sing a short selection from a familiar song (music and words provided).
There is no expectation to prepare a musical selection.

Can high school students audition?
Yes! Singers in grades 11 or 12 are eligible, but must be enrolled in their school’s choral program as a prerequisite to singing in the Legacy Chorale.
