The Medora Musical event is holding auditions for singers, dancers and musicians to join the show.
Open auditions will be coming in March, 2024 to Pigeon Forge, TN, Fargo, North Dakota and Bismark, North Dakota. The production is also offering online auditions for those that are unable to make it to the in person auditions. The live event takes place in Medora, ND.

Featuring high-energy performances by the Burning Hills Singers and the Coal Diggers Band, the Medora Musical weaves together a tapestry of folk, bluegrass, and country melodies, captivating audiences with its heartwarming tales and dynamic choreography.

Join the greatest show in the west – The Medora Musical – in a high-energy, country-western variety show performed under the beautiful badlands sunset. We are looking for featured singers and singer/dancers to join the Burning Hills Singers, as well as high-energy folk, bluegrass, and country musicians to become part of the Coal Diggers Band.

Seeking Keys/Music Director, Bass Guitar, Drum set, Electric Guitar, Banjo/Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle
Musicians will be featured on-stage for nightly live performances of the Medora Musical. Musicians should be able to read chord charts and have a good ear, with the ability to pick up musical parts quickly. Rehearsals begin early May, in Medora, North Dakota and the contract runs through September 8. Performers are paid a weekly salary, as well as room and board and meals. Transportation is provided.
Audition Information:
Singers should prepare two contrasting 32-bar cuts of country and/or contemporary pop/rock vocal selections. Contemporary music theater selections are also permitted. Please bring a headshot and resume stapled back-to-back. Sheet music in the correct key is required, and an accompanist will be provided.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals commence early May in Medora, North Dakota, and the contract extends through September 8, 2024.
Compensation:
Performers receive a weekly salary, along with room and board, meals, and transportation provided.
