Hawaii open casting call for Disney’s Moana.
Here’s your chance to be part of the magic in Disney’s live-action remake of Moana. An in-person casting call is happening this Friday in Kalihi for background extras.
The Disney live action Moana movie has been filming for quite some time, in various areas and has held open calls in the past. Seems, this particular open casting call for the Disney movie is for scenes that the production will be reshooting shortly.
The event will take place at the Susannah Wesley Community Center, located across from Farrington High School, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Casting directors are specifically seeking Pacific Islanders or individuals with Polynesian heritage, ideally with long hair, to portray the inhabitants of Motunui. They’re looking for people between the ages of 9 and 85 to participate.
Additionally, there will be a casting call for a separate film, Headhunters, during the same time and location. For this film, casting directors are searching for individuals of Southeast Asian descent.
